HOW EMAIL SAVED THE CANDY STORE (a fun rhyming story and a great business tip):

A candy store was really struggling. Bills weren’t paid, revenue was down and the owners had lost their joy

The marketer said, “You need to build your list” and showed them how to get going (using this new little toy)

They asked a simple question, “do you want some free stuff?” and soon their listed started to grow

Then they clicked “Send” on their first email out to see if it’d get people to show

Much to their surprise, and with much jubilee, their customers came back!

“We want this, and that, we loved your great deal” they said as they opened their wallet

You see, my dear reader, what the owners had done
Was simply ask a quick question
“We send out deals, do you want some?”

With a pencil by their wrist
And a paper easy to see
The candy store built a list!
…and it was so easy!
