I know, I know. Every guru promises results in “60 seconds or less,” or “5 Ways to Less Days” or “6 Hours of Content in 6 seconds?” Am I right?! 
 
Eye-roll. 
 
Annoying. 
 
But kinda humorous! I mean, who really believes those claims, right?
 
<Wait.>
 
You and I write those kinds of hooks, don’t we? 
 
Well, today we’re going to keep that promise… sort of. Just not in 6 seconds.
 
You will see how to use longer + shorter videos to guide your customer through the marketing journey. Like a hero. Or like a boss.
 
So, c’mon. Let’s find out how to maximize video for sales.

These days, video is ruling the marketing world.  I’m continually amazed at the power of video and how it’s helping me grow my business.
 
Need proof? Just look at how IG is now mostly video. And how “Shorts” are being pushed so heavily on YouTube, the channel is paying Creators to upload videos.
 
So, you need to use video, too! 
 
Use it to not only target and retarget your lead gen, but to establish “celebrity status” that leads to more – you guessed it – the yellow brick road of KLT. Know, Like and Trust.
 
How does this work?
 
Through the “Video Domino” strategy. 
 
No matter what you sell, who you are trying to reach, or where you are located…
 
…the Video Domino strategy will work to attract highly qualified leads to you that are prepared and excited to buy!
 
Here’s how it works:
Make a long video that explains one of the BIG benefits that you bring to the table. Long = only 2-3 minutes.


At the end of the video, you make an offer!


Use analytics to create a custom audience around viewers who watch a large portion of the video.


Set up a retargeting ad campaign that only goes to prospects that have watched at least half of your video.


Let the ad follow them around Facebook until they take action.

Here’s why it works
Video has been proven to connect with your audience. They are literally able to look you “in the eye” and listen to you speak.
 
You no longer need to spend thousands on TV ads to a random assortment of viewers who “might” be interested in your product. Now, you can now tell Facebook exactly who you want to watch your video. Those genuinely interested will watch a 2-3 minutes explanation of one of the big benefits of your service. They will listen to you make an offer. 
 
So, you can pay just pennies per view of that 2-3 minute video!
 
And, you can customize a shorter video for the interested audience inside Facebook Ads Manager. The ad campaign will only reach the segment of users you choose. It’s commonly known as a “retargeting” campaign. You’ll hit your ideal demographic who have shown an interest in your product or service.
 
You can use a short video advertisement and encourage the target prospect that is watching this video to take the next step on your offer; whether that is scheduling a call with you or visiting your online store.
 
As a general rule of thumb, humans feel safer around people they recognize. You can use that Law of Familiarity to your advantage by following your target prospects that have expressed interest in your product or service with a short video.
 
The more they see your face, and hear your voice, the more likely they are to trust you to take the next step!
