10X YOUR ONLINE VISIBILITY: 5 TIPS

Here is the cold hard truth: if people do not know who you are they will not hire you. It seems obvious, but it’s surprising how little action most business owners take even though they are aware that if their audience does not know who they are they will not/cannot be hired.

One of my goals is becoming an online influencer – which is loosely defined as somebody that others know and trust.

I want to be visible. I want to be seen. I want to be respected. I want to be trusted.

How do I accomplish this?

1) I post often

I post on Facebook and LinkedIn at least once per day! Consistency creates results

2) I post what people want to see

I am a Numbers lover, so I keep track of what works. If I make a post and it gets a lot of “likes” or other reactions I know that my audience enjoyed it. I keep a running tally of what kind of things work and I continue to make posts like that! It sounds simple, but it does take work to keep track of your audiences reactions

3) I use video!

Facebook loves video, so I have gotten in the habit of creating video on a regular basis. I have also tried to follow Russell Brunson’s example and do a webinar a week. I have found that the more webinars I do the more money that I make, because the webinars force me to make offers!

4) I answer questions

It sounds simple, but I get most of my content from the questions of my audience. When I post information or industry news, I get questions. When I answer those questions in a subsequent post, the post usually does really well because many people had a similar question! I always try to do these FAQ posts as a video, then they get spread more and I get a higher viewership.

5) I have fun

Most importantly, my online visibility has skyrocketed because I have fun! I ask questions, I create conversation, and I make fun videos that get shared a lot!

In closing, if you are in visible online then your business is dying a slow death! Make sure that your audience knows what you do, they know how to support you, and you continue educating them so that they get value from your posts!
