Real Estate Agents should create their own Facebook Groups!

I was just presented with a unique question that I thought was such a great question regarding Facebook groups.

So here it is, Gina asked…

“Alex I know Facebook groups are a big thing – what can I do to fill them? I’m a real estate agent so I don’t have a product to sell or give away”

Great question Gina! The point of the Facebook group is to bring everybody into one central location.

How do you do that? How do you bring people into your Facebook group and why would they join you?

Why create a Facebook group, if you’re a real estate agent?

I want you to imagine bringing a prospect into a room where there are 50 people, you walk in and say “Hey everyone here’s Jim” and Jim looks around and sees an escrow officer, a lender, a title agent, all of these different people in the same room. Jim is thinking, “Wait a minute what are they doing here, why are they with Gina? Is Gina this big of a name, what’s going on?”

Having your own group sets you apart, now every prospect that you bring into that Facebook group sees the kind of network that you have and they know they’re really working with somebody who’s got a team. They’re working with someone who’s powerful.

That’s the power of a Facebook group.

How do you fill it? You use the online challenge concept – it works so well. I’ve used it over and over and over again, and my clients have used it and it just continues to work.
