Facebook Messenger ads are the craze right now. Marketers are excited, businesses are seeing great results, and consumers love the ease of use.

How are businesses able to pull these off?

The solution?  Chatbots.  These are automated services that provide instant communication via inboxes and chatlines so that questions from clients and customers can be answered as fast as they and you need them to be done.

 

What are they and how do they work?

These are automated messages devices that are connected up with Facebook Messenger to provide a question with instant feedback for some of the questions that you know you’re going to get, and fill them out with answers that will get sent when these questions are asked with no interaction needed from anyone on your team.

Most people do their major shopping from their phones, so your chatbot will help them navigate the items in the mobile version of the website so that it’s more streamlined.  This is a great way to almost create a tutorial for someone who is struggling with the different options you’re offering, and it can all be set up to be automated.

 

  • Chatbots will help show customers where they can go to get more information

If a client is struggling and the chatbot is unable to help them with everything, it will also be able to give the customer a direct link to where they can get more support and guidance through email, online communication, or phone.  It’s a great way to help those who need some extra support.  It’s important to note, too, that it should always be announced upfront that the customer is communicating with a chatbot so there is no surprise or deceit when they’re redirected to a real person via customer service lines.

If clients are asking questions about products that are outlined on your FAQ page, you can help them through to find the answers via the Chatbot, and the customer will love it, because they’re easy answers and they are there immediately.
