Bluecanvas

An investor based in Los Angeles, CA contracted the Branning Group to build a social network geared towards the artistic community from the ground up. The web site had to look sharp, function smoothly and handle a sudden boom in visitors. Bluecanvas.com was launched on the Branning Group Social Networking Platform. The latest re-design includes integration with phpBB and a new online magazine!

The Branning Group social networking platform comes with the following feature set out of the box, any and all modifications are on the table:

  • User management (with full statistics and reports)
  • Peer relationships through the network (users can become “friends” with each other)]
  • Complete content management system; all content is controlled through the back-end administration
  • Image upload for users; moderation through back-end system (user generated content that makes you money!)
  • Activity feed that entices users to click around on your web site, generating advertising revenue and encourages more user generated content
  • Blog system for all users
  • Custom URLs for your users - http://www.bluecanvas.com/branninggroup (this will encourage your user base to share their profile on your site with their friends)
  • Classifieds system to post job openings, items for sale, etc
  • Events system that allows users to broadcast meetings, parties, etc
  • Internal messaging system that allows users to contact each other through the network
  • Powerful search engine that can retrieve content from all areas of the site
  • Message Wall that allows users to leave notes on their friends’ profile pages
